In this privacy statement Decomecc NV (also referred to hereafter as “Decomecc”, “we”, “us” or “our”) wants to explain how we process your personal data when you visit www.decomecc.be (hereafter called the “website”) or make use of its services and features. We are dedicated to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of information entrusted to us. As part of this fundamental obligation, we are committed to the appropriate protection and use of personal data (also referred to as “personal information”). We respect your privacy and process your personal information only within the purposes for which you have provided them and in accordance with the current privacy legislation. Decomecc obtains your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these to us yourself. By registering and/or submitting personal data to Decomecc, you are giving your explicit consent to us, so that we may use this data in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Your personal data is not used for other purposes, unless we obtain your permission, or unless otherwise required or permitted by law or professional standards. For example, if you buy one of our services, we will use the information to contact you or to deliver services and goods to you. If you send us a curriculum vitae to apply for a position with Decomecc, we will use the information that you provide to match you with available job opportunities.
1.2. Special and/or sensitive data we process
Our website and/or service does not have the intention to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 18 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or a guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over 18 years of age. We therefore recommend that parents are involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us at request@decomecc.be and we will delete that information.

5. Cookies, or similar techniques, we use
Decomecc NV only uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. To ensure the request for access has been made by you, we kindly ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. Make sure you blacken out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Social Security number. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Decomecc takes the protection of your data very seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
